It is a great major to have. There are a few downsides to the major in that many of the professors are foreign. This is a little difficult in that sometimes it is hard to understand them, get the meaning of questions/answers across, get help readily. However, once you start taking classes in the major the professors and department to a great job of pushing you to do your best, provide resources for easy research and pretty small class sizes for such a large and reputable university.

Didn't Use Much
The facilties on campus are better than many others that I have visited. There is never a lack of computer labs and libraries for use. Also, it has one of the best athletic centers around. The fact that it is one of the top 3 largest universities in the U.S. means that it has a lot to offer for students.

One of the main things that I have noticed about this school is that it is one of the most diverse campuses I have been to. Despite the size and variety of majors I believe the diversity of Minneapolis itself adds to the unique offerings for a wide range of people.
