Transportation at Clark
If you have a car, you're good to go, but that can get expensive. There are lots of places in the area to eat or shop for food, toiletries, clothes, etc. If you want to get farther, then you'll have to either have a car, take a taxi, or take the public city bus. In the beginning of the year, each freshman gets a free bus pass, and you can ride the city bus to most places for free. One awesome thing about Clark is that we have Clark Escort, which is a free service that you can call and they will pick you up at your location and bring you anywhere within a mile of campus, which is great for rainy days or when you're tired. Another cool option is the ZipCar, which is a car rental service. Any student at Clark who is 18+ and has had their license for 2+ yrs (I believe) can sign up for $35, and then pay by the day or hour, with free gas.
The train station is about 2 miles from Clark, and you can walk, or take a bus or a taxi ( for $8.00) there. At Union Station you can take the train or get a Greyhound/Peter Pan bus, which is very easy, convenient, and a good price. The national airport is about an hour from here.
