Diversity on the Stanford Campus
One thing that I love about Stanford is that it is welcoming to all different types of people. We are respectful to everyone whether that means that they agree with our ideas or not. I walked onto the campus expecting to be overwhelmed with extreme liberals and protest-lovers. However, we are all content with just living with our own beliefs and accepting others for theirs.

BIKES BIKES BIKES!!!!
You must have a bike or else you will die (or your friends who bike will kill you for forcing them to walk everywhere)! I would suggest investing in a good bike, but not one that is too expensive because bike theft is very prevalent on campus. Make sure you get a durable, trusty lock too (Kryptonite U-Lock). Depending on where you live, biking can be a hassle. There is the Marguerite shuttle that will take you to the mall or Wal-Mart or wherever else you need to go that is not within biking distance.

Undecided
I came to Stanford as "undecided," while still thinking about pre-med. However, after finishing one quarter at school, I am even more undecided than ever having already considered pre-med, civil & environmental engineering, and architecture. I am still frantically searching for my intended major and career. I have talked to some architecture majors who are pretty worried about finding a job after they graduate. One perk about being at Stanford, though, is that a degree from this school is impressive to most people and will hopefully help in the long-run.
