Girls/Guys
The common personality at Elon is friendly, outgoing and happy. Many are friendly, but there are a few stuck up girls. Guys are a lot more mature than guys in my hometown, and are usually athletic and can be a little cocky. Girls are treated well at parties and in general. Easy to make friends if you try.

Drug/Alcohol Use
If you go to a party, you can expect alcohol and lots of it. From beer, to vodka, to "jungle juice" or even mojitos, its definitely easy access. Drugs go around, but are not as commonly used. Some smoke at night, but rarely during the day. Stay away from the hawaiian punch at frat parties-bad idea.

Campus Security
Its not hard to run into security If you make too much noise or are stupid one night you will get written up and have to pay 50 dollars. Its annoying, but they don't call your parents until the second time. ALWAYS call for a SafeRide home. Its much netter than being stopped by security when you're walking.
