Plenty of Houses for Rent
Pros: many houses available for students to rent within walking distance of campus. generally nice, well kept. not much more expensive than on campus housing
cons: not many apartments within walking distance but the ones that are are good

Great Way to Have Fun
Aside from athletes, greek life definitely dominates the social scene if you're interested in going out/partying. Fraternities have both on and off campus housing where they can throw parties. Fraternities and sororities range from hot and fun to weird but there's a place for most people who are interested. Overall, the Greek community interacts well with non-Greeks. All sororities have houses in Sorority Court with housing available for members. Greeks and non-Greeks are often friends, but aside from big open frat parties, it can be much harder for non-Greeks to find big parties to attend.

So-So
People complain a lot about Parking Services, but I've never had a problem. Although I could easily walk to class from my off campus apartment, I'm lazy and drive most days...I don't even have an on campus parking permit but I've never had a problem finding a spot on the street near class. The Williamsburg parking police LOVE to give out tickets for staying in a 2 hr spot for more than 2 hrs, but they don't ever bother to ticket on the weekends. Parking isn't great and people generally complain, but I actually don't think it's that bad.
