I am just wondering what the dating/sex scene is like since most people are lds?

I have 3 siblings that attend USU. I don't know what it is like in other states, but there are still friends with benefits and such. It isn't like BYU; people date and do what they like.

If your are lds its alright. if yuo aren't i would recommend getting involved in greek life.

Most people are LDS in Logan. People are dating like crazy, but if you're not LDS, you'll want to keep your hands to yourself if you date someone who is.

Haha I have seen some crazy Mormons. there are plenty of opportunities to get down trust me

Dating is dependent on person, more church activities and cheap dvd dates. Don't hear openly talking about sex or living together.

How is the food on campus? And what is one piece of advice for incoming freshmen?

The food on campus is great. You should try to make as many friends as possible. You should also try to take school more seriously and try to make your experience, here, at USU count.

Meal plans are nice, and usually freshman like them.

Aggie Ice cream is the best. As a freshman get involved with activities on campus.

Good variety, always available hot food, Lots of stir fry, hamburgers, smoothies, sandwiches. Creamery ice cream is great!

How is the mathematics and/or statistics program at USU?

I'm not a math or stats major

I haven't taken those classes in many years so I don't recall.

The statistics program at USU is easy to get into and easy to get a good grade in.

Excellent, our engineering program is among the best and is heavily supported by our knowledgeable Math department.

The Mathematics department is mediocre and average but it gets the job done.

Very good. Professors are knowledgeable and willing to help.

IT's great

Really good. They set you up on a site where it gives you all the help you need. And if you need additional help, they have tutors that can help you.

The mathematics program is very good at usu.

I'm not sure. I did take Statistics 1040. I loved the class and the instructor. I learned a lot that I can therefore apply to my life outside of school.

I'm not sure because I haven't been in any of those classes yet.

I would not be an authority on this. I started as a math major and I honestly didn't love any of my professors. The Economics department is great though!

I actually haven't taken a math class yet- but I've only heard good things.

I've got a cousin that's about to get his PhD in some mathematics field. He's been there for quite awhile, that's where he got his bachelors and masters as well. He got lots of other offers, but he chose Utah State. Take it for what its worth.

Lower division Math taught by Grad students and varies on ease and quality of instruction with no consistency or oversite from department.
