Seems Safe to Me
I don't ever worry about my safety on campus. I live off campus so I don't know as well what it's like at night, but Bozeman still has somewhat of a small town feel and it is a comfortable place to be.

Not So Great
Living off campus I have to commute to school every day. I can pretty much always get a spot, but it may take 10+ minutes to walk to class. Plus, I payed a premium price so that I could park closer (so much for that).

Totally Depends on Perspective
I love snow and cold, so I think it's great. If your a warm weather person stay away! There will be snow October thru April, and it will get below zero regularly December thru February. The grade is purely reflective of my preference.
