Keeping It Different
While the cafeterias often repeat meals and have similar food for lunch and dinner the same day, I must hand it to LSU for having options spread throughout campus. Food is easily accessibly and there are many choices so that, if students don't want to eat the same thing over and over again, they have many other vendors/dining halls available to them; however, it is inconvenient on Friday afternoons and weekends for students who stay on campus to access as many options. Only three vendors are steadily open throughout the weekend and they are not the most popular choices. It is manageable though if students absolutely cannot leave campus to make do with those three vendors. Dining was pretty well thought-out. Kudos to LSU for their dining system overall.

Relatively Speaking
Drug use is inevitable on any campus. Ideally, it would be eliminated altogether, but that is not realistic. Yes, there is drug use, but it is not outrageously rampant or much more prevalent than most other colleges from what I hear. I have never engaged in drug use and have been fortunate to be minimally exposed to it while on campus.

Student Consideration
It can't be argued that LSU hasn't thought of nearly everything. I find that anything I want to do on a daily basis or anything that needs to be done for classes is easily accomplished or accesible. Vendors are scattered across campus, scantrons are free in the Student Government office, and forming a club/organization is not that difficult. Student life is pretty smooth overall. Access to faculty members is the only thing that could be improved for the average student that I have been exposed to. It is difficult to meet with counselors or make appointments with many faculty members for various reasons. Another complaint that is pretty argeed upon by students is the difficulty of foreign teachers with thick accents. Trouble understanding a professor or TA definitely takes a toll on a student's ability, and desire, to prosper in a course.
