No Place I'd Rather Be
Every building on the KU campus was designed for its students. The recreational center is close to the campus and open from before dawn to midnight; the libraries are often open all day and night; and the Underground (where we get food in a rush) has many different choices including sushi, Asian, pizza, and salads. Plus it seems as if there is a different function every day and it allows students to make friends, relax, and have fun.

My Second Home
I love my dorm: it is only a 10-15 minute walk to any of the buildings, there is a dining center downstairs, and it is across the street from the rec. center. What I don't like is that we have to pay for laundry and the elevators jam often.

KU Dining- Off Campus
There are lots of options with a wide array of prices from McDonalds to Steak n Shake to Applebees to Free State. There are buses going by them all day long so access is readily available and often student deals are run to help students save money.

Technology
The computers are fantastic, the printers in the engineering library are extremely hightech and require a student to login to their account at the printer to avoid printing unncessary items. All students are given $8 worth of printing money and personal computers are needed if one wants to do work in their room. Internet is usually reliable throughout the campus and the dorms became wireless this winter.
