Most Students end up moving off campus in their 2nd or 3rd year at IU. There are lots of options and you can find a good price if you look around for a bit.

Academic Guru
Indiana University offers a wide and diverse selection as far as majors. Professors are usually knowledgeable and are willing to help. Workload seems to be average and IU holds job and internship fairs a couple times a year on campus.

Extreme, Indiana Weather
Class is hardly ever cancelled, no matter what. It can be extremely warm/hot in the summer but you can freeze your buns off waiting on the bus in the fall/winter rain.

So Many Options
Bloomington restaurants are great. Many aren't too pricey, are close to campus, and send out coupons often. Lots of places even deliver for students with out cars.

Moderately Strict
Students are free to do what they want, discreetly. Police and Resident Assistants are strict about drug and alcohol use. If caught, punishments are pretty severe. Other than that, there aren't many rules and regulations.
