Bars
most of the bars are rented out by smu or greek life organizations so its only 18= to get in and 21= to drink. lots of bars in close proximity. always something to do!

Parking
tickets are average cost. permits are fairly cheap per year. you dont really need a car unless you live off campus. parking is pretty abundant exept a few hours in the mornings but it depends what structure you chose to park in

Computers
there are so many computers all over campus and especially in the library. there are rows of computers on each floor. smu even has a room full of brand new imacs for the students to use

Food!
yum! there are many dining options at smu. the main cafeteria has so many sections including, organic bar, spa cuisine, pizza and pasta bar, huge salad bar, home cooking section, omlette bar and bakery! they give you fresh baked warm cookies from the oven!

the weather in texas is moody. it will be really hot and raining or it will be freezing. lots of random thunder storms.
