Excellent Off Campus Dining
Delaware, Ohio has a fine choice in dining off campus. OWU's meal plans allow people to pay foodpoints to places including the Mean Bean Cafe, Vaquero's Mexican Restaurant, and even Matt's Famous Kabobs. There are delicious restaurants for everyone including Canton Chinese Restaurant, Chandra's, and Hoggy's. There is different types of food dining for everyone.

Love Living on Campus
Living on campus is a great experience for everyone on campus. My freshman year I lived in Thomson where I not only saw my dorm mates often but ended up forming close friendships with many of them. The RA's were very easy going but knew when to be serious.
I currently now live in Hayes where there is still that community feeling in my dorm. The RA's do not treat you like children but treat you like adults who have to respect each other. I have friends who live in Smith, Stuyvesant, YearOne, etc and they tell me how much they enjoy living in their dorms.
With the exception of Stuyvesant and a few SLU's, the dorms are in pretty good shape. Not once have I felt that the building was gonna collapse on me nor was I concerned with the security of the building.

Amazing Experience
I am confident in saying how satisfied I am with my overall experience at OWU. I not only have a solid group of friends here but I have an even greater amount of people to rely on here. In my freshman year I decided to go Greek and it was the best choice. I am now very engaged on campus and very motivated to do my best. I don't think I've had one professor that does not want to help me succeed. All of the people I know at OWU are unique in background, interest and personality and I think that is the most notable characteristic of OWU.

Close-Knit
Delaware, Ohio is a very decently sized town which is 30 minutes from Columbus. Delaware is very safe, family-friendly and has a great relationship with OWU. First Friday is a great time to see all of the Delaware Residents walking around and interacting. Everyone in the town is very friendly and welcoming.

Huge Diversity
Ohio Wesleyan University has one of the highest amounts of international students of liberal arts schools. There are many Asian and African-American students and a few European students. There is also 50% Ohio students and %50 out-of-state students. People at OWU are amazingly diverse. I know people who have never even been out of their own state before and I know some people who have spent their whole lives flying on planes. People are diverse in backgrounds, personality, experience and activities.

Weather
They say that in Ohio you experience all four seasons in 1 day. While sometimes that is true, it is always nice to have those days where the weather stays the same. I love those days in the Summer and Spring when it is in the 80s and bright and sunny. There are also those quaint winter days when there is a perfect amount of snow to have snowball fights in. While the weather can change constantly, the days of nice weather make up for it.
