Campus Strictness at Seattle University

B

CPS Is Always There

Campus Public Safety is very vigilant...rather too vigilant, in fact. The slightest misstep and you could find yourself KICKED OUT. The first time you pretty much are always guaranteed a harsh reprimand, however, nothing too serious. Probation is widely used

Transportation at Seattle University

C-

Buses

There are buses, but they run irregularly and the fare is expensive. There is a school van for late-night transport within a few blocks of campus. Other than that...people just walk. It should be noted that a limited trolley line will be installed on Broadway soon and ready for operation in 2013 or 2014

Computers at Seattle University

B+

Great Technology

There are several computer ranging in size, from the little cafe one to the larger ones in the engineering building and the business school. The best one yet is in the new library that was finished in the summer of 2010; the computers are new, and have huge screens! There is wifi in all dorms and around campus. Definitely a lack of macs, though; it's all PC as far as i can tell. Labs do tend to get crowded around finals when people are madly working on papers

Athletics at Seattle University

B

Athletics Are Dumb

No one really goes to the super-hyped basketball games. There are lots of fun intramural & club sports to join, though, like soccer. Volleyball games are fun to watch if you're more of a spectator

Overall Experience at Seattle University

B

Nice People

SU is really full of well-meaning and for the most part, friendly people. the grounds are lovely...one really really REALLY annoying thing though is that the groundskeeper goes out at 7:30 am right next to the dorms and uses a really loud weed whacker or leaf blower! it's so awful, some days so bad I feel like transferring because of the noise level- impossible to sleep or study. there should definitely be noise regulations. the only thing that drops the grade of SU in general down to a B, in fact, is the noise
