Greek Life Isn't Huge
You can still be accepted by other students even if you're not in a sorority or fraternity. They all have reputations for being heavy drinkers or harassing fellow students.

We're Number 4 for a Reason
Students don't care what day of the week it is, if they want to drink they will. Drinking is a pretty big thing here at Iowa. It's strange for student to not go out and party of the weekends.

Lacking in "Average" Student Scholarships
I am a white, middle-class female with nothing special enough to qualify me for a scholarship. It's expensive to pay out-of-state tuition with no financial aid.
