Quiet
The libraries are all pretty well stocked and quiet. Main Stacks is very quiet, can here a pin drop, and people give might give you a funny look if you make any noise.

TASTY!
There are a plethora of cool restaurants. Dyar is a good mediterranean place, Udubi (sp?) is good downtown, and the asian ghetto has a wide variety of asian (and non asian) foods.

It's a Small World
I am just amazed that even though there are 30+ thousand students here, it feels a lot smaller. There are certain people I see everyday, and you make really tight friends. And it being the top public university in the nation doesn't hurt either.
