Challenge Accepted!
Classes at MIT are definitely not easy. Even if you think you've seen material in the class before, it's worth relearning it because of all the extra insight that is given in lectures. The professors are exceptional; they're available for help, but at the same time encourage students to find their own solutions and really learn how to learn rather than representing the material. It's an intense workload, but if you can take the heat, you'll come out having learned more than you ever thought you could.

Not What You Might Think
Contrary to popular belief, MIT does not wholly consist of nerds who sit inside and do homework all day. The good thing about a Division III school is that it's really easy to get involved in a new sport. Even if you don't have the time to go all in and try to play varsity, there's plenty of club sports and intramurals that anyone can get involved in as often as they like. Although our sporting events don't get a lot of spectators, it's hard to not know anyone that's participating in a competition sport; most people have been to a game or another here or there. The teams show a lot of spirit and are very close knit groups of people that are always welcome to new friends and members. A lot of freshmen men get involved in varsity crew for this reason (we actually do row in division I).

Wouldn't Have It Any Other Way
I've had a total blast my first year at MIT! It felt overwhelming at first, but it's a great place to be. There are a lot of friendly people willing to help you out with anything, it's easy to get around, there's always something going on that you can get involved in, and not to mention there's all the other colleges in the area with people to interact with and things you can be involved in there too if you want. The workload is hard, some days it feels like the workload is just crushing. But, if you can keep your head up and work through it and get help when you need, it is quite an awesome experience. If I had to pick colleges again, I would still choose to come to MIT.
