The school clearly wants to try and add diversity, but there is no integration between different cultural groups whatsoever. The international students and African American students all hang with themselves while the preppy white upper class students associate with their respective greek organizations

Alcohol Dominates
While there is definitely a scene that is heavily involved wtih coke or marijuana, Alcohol predominates. There is heavy drinking on campus three to four nights a week, particularly on wednesdays which is a bucknell designated party night. If you dont drink and you come to this school you will feel extremely uncomfortable

Greek Life Is HUGE
I am in a sorority at Bucknell and i literally can not name another girl that is not also in one. The scene is huge and is 100% of the social options if you are under 21. Greek life will define your group of friends, and will really impact friendships made freshman year if you do not end up in the same sorority. For those who are looking for a pervasive greek scene coupled with great academics, look no further Bucknell is the perfect school for you
