Pretty Decent
There are plenty of options for students outside of Emory. I see apartment complexes and other places to live in around campus. Students walk from them all the time.

It's Low Key but There
Emory is pretty drug-free (We are actually going smoke-free next year). Some kids do weed and such but it's not nothing too horrible.

I thought the process was good - I was offered plenty coming in to Emory. I would just make sure you do your FAFSA and get your stuff done ASAP so there won't be any problems.
