Off-Campus Housing
I do not know much about the off campus housing since I live in the dorms right now. But from what I've seen, the apartments are very nice.

Iowa Has the Best Athletics
Iowa Football is everything; the town is dead on game day, everyone is over at the stadium and we have the best tailgate scene. Our game day environment is very enthusiastic and our school spirit is very high.

Police Are Very Present on Weekends; a Large Majority of People Drink
Alcohol is only visible outside the dorms in the bars where you can buy it. Bouncers check id's very closely.
