Safety & Health at Tech
There is not that much crime at Tech. You have to use common sense though, and it is not wise to go walking around at night by yourself since Tech is basically downtown. The plus side to being so close to the city is that there are also police roaming the campus and there are emergency phones stationed everywhere.
Overall, I feel very safe on campus and I have never been worried about my safety.

Nice Apartments for an Inexpensive Price!
There are so many apartments located off campus that can easily be afforded by yourself or with a couple of roommates. There are also really expensive ones located in Midtown so it really depends on what you're looking for. Overall, you can easily find an inexpensive, nice apartment.

Sports Are Crazy Here!
Game days are ridiculous. I'm always forced to wake up on football game days because there is so much noise outside. People are walking around, music is playing, and overall it's a really good atmosphere. The same goes for baseball, basketball, and the other sports at Tech. The whole school is very supportive.
