Facilities from an Athletes View
Since I am an athlete I get spoiled and sometimes am oblivious to what "normal" students get. Our athletic facilities are very nice and when I need to non-athletes gym it never fails, minus a few specialized pieces of equipment. The classes are awesome and I love the instructors. The school has gone through and updated or built many new buildings on campus which are very nice. These classrooms definitely makes the learning experience better

A Work in Progress
Even though the older dorms are not as nice as the new ones they are not that bad. The new ones are very nice and there are many of them. A few of the older ones have problems. An example is that Whitehurst's first floor floods and has been known to have problems with the fire alarm. They redid the floors though so it is not as bad but a few of my friends had damage to their computers and such.

Not Bad
I grew up in Virginia so I am used to the bipolar weather and being able to randomly pull out shorts in December. I decided to stay in the South for college for my sport, sailing. I knew it would be warmer than many of the northern schools I was looking at but I still freeze in the spring. Do not be fooled with a few sunny warm days in the middle of winter there can still be a nice bite to it.
