Convenient Dining
There are many places to eat that are within walking distance of the campus. Most places have student discounts and are a reasonable price. There are a lot of great barbecue and soul food places. Also fast food places like Churches, Popeyes, Wing-stop, McDonalds, and Taco Bell are reasonable priced and close. Although Paschals is more expensive, the food is really good.

Spelman Stricness
Spelman has pretty strict policies about visitation. Visitation hours for all Spelman students on campus is from 6pm to 11:30 pm. All males must be off campus by 12pm. They are also very strict about student conduct as well as dress code

Spelman's Uniqueness
Spelman really provides you with the feel of sisterhood. They really uplift black women and prepare them for life. There is also a lot of support if you are struggling in course. You are provided health care as well as a small amount of health care insurance if you need to go outside of the school.
