BBQ and Southern Comfort Food!

The food in Memphis is MORE than enough to make up for the average dining options on campus. Besides being BBQ city, there are great, sometimes pricier places downtown and cheaper more eclectic places in midtown, where Rhodes is located. If you are craving barbeque, the BBQ Shop is literally a 3 minute drive and is, in my opinion, the best place for a barbeque sandwich in the world. Central barbeque appreciates its Rhodes patrons and offers discounts on drinks and sandwiches if you visit often with a student ID. Main street downtown is a great place to sit on a patio and eat as people are out every night of the week downtown. Don't be afraid to venture off the beaten path, as less explored neighborhoods usually have some of the best food.

Don't be afraid to ask for more money if you didn't get enough the first time around. They won't take away money from you just because you asked, and if you're lucky like me, they'll give you enough to attend here if its where you want to go.
