Great Looking Campus
although everyone is buried under massive winter jackets a lot of the time they are extremely fit and naturally attractive. The people are outdoorsy and go for a more natural look (but not hippies at all). no fake tans or fake blonde hair. gym is always really busy. no freshmen 15. girls are a little better looking than boys

Excuse for a Party
We may be D-1 but we do not show it at the games. Some games constantly have more people than others (like any team against cornell or syracuse). Hockey, lacrosse, and football have the biggest outcomes but students usually just use the games as an excuse to tailgate all day long. school spirit is HUGE at colgate but this is not always represented in the turn out at games. facilities are really nice the gym is brand new and perfect. club sports are very big at colgate. rugby, club soccer, and ultimate frisbee have large teams and have a lot of fun. because this is a small school people always go out to support their friends in sporting events.

Drinking Very Popular
It is upstate new york. There is not a lot going on in the area so many of the activities do revolve around drinking. There is not peer pressure though and if you do not want to do it you do not have to. Drinking is popular but there is not a drug problem at all. If people do drugs at all it is smoking.
