Gustavus Residential Houses
Applying and being submitted into living in one of the houses owned by Gustavus, I have found it to be an exceptionally fun and interesting experience. A lot of it is very independent living as you have to learn how to cook and clean depending on your own needs. However, it also gives you the privacy you need while close enough to walk to attend classes (across the street). Also, the college provides many of the college owned residential buildings weekly cleaning services with the help of the custodial. A lot of their employees are very friendly and respectful to the students. Living at the house has also saved me some money since it requires the student to have the option of no meal plan with the school. Therefore, buying your own groceries saves a lot of money if you know what to buy.

Underage Drinking and Zero-Tolerance Hate Acts
The school tries very hard to educate the student body and community if any of these situations ever occur. For example, if GLBT students were threatened, the president would immediately take action, emailing and awaring the campus of such inappropriate activities. Also, they would usually hold discussions. However, usually not as many participants would show up to share their thoughts and feelings on the issue.

Gustavus Financial Aid
I have never had a problem with my school's financial aid office. Everything is always timely and in a fashionable manner. Also, they are always there to provide any questions if you are unsure. They are also really good about trying their best to maximize the financial aid they can provide. Compared to other schools I have seen, Gustavus's financial aid team is very organized and I feel I can greatly benefit from.
