Fairly Active If You're Into Sports
If you're on a team, then you're gold with athletics. Not entirely sure about fan support or visible/heard school spirit. UCSC has a good athletics program, but we don't have a football field or team which is kind of the root of all school spirit. But the athletics are active if you're on it or into it. Otherwise, the rest of the school kind of turns a blind eye to sports.

Campus Strictness Is on Loudness
Things aren't too bad on campus. If you're loud after quiet hours, then you get about 2 warnings then get your name marked down and possibly ticketed. They don't really care much about any suspicious smells, especially if you're out in the meadows/forest. If you're caught drinking then you're marked down if you're underage, but if you can be discreet about things, then there's not much to worry about.

Easy to Find If You Know Where to Look
Financial aid can be received from scholarships outside of the school, etc. The school usually gives out a decent grant. It can be a hassle sometimes, but it just depends.
