Beautiful Campus
During the drier months, students on bicycles can be found zipping across campus. The grassy areas are vast and lovely to sit on (when they aren't wet from the rain). The campus is home to a huge variety of trees from all over the world, several great museums, and a beautiful old library with quite a selection of collectible books.

Best Bars Are Far from Campus
If you want the same old college crowded campus bars with cheap beer and amusement, there are plenty of bars snuggled right next to the campus. If you want a real Eugene experience, complete with food and music venture out a bit further to Sam Bond's garage. It is laid-back with great beer. If you are underage, don't fret. There are plenty of parties Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Great Town, Laid Back Univeristy With Some Intellectual Gems
Eugene is a mellow town, the living here is easy and during the summers the town comes alive with hippie happiness. The University shares this relaxed vibe for the most part. Academics leave a bit to be desired if you want a challenge, but this varies hugely from department to department. Some of the professors have been life-changers, others- not so much.
