Housing is great and there are tons of options to choose from! South campus is where most first-tears live. It's a 15 min walk to campus but the dorms are larger and newer and the exercise is good for you! North campus has the historic dorms which are smaller but closer to class, mostly upperclassmen live here. The RHA (residence hall association) is a group of student leaders that works to make campus life fun and enjoyable and they do a really great job!

Because UNC has such different tuition for out of state vs in state students it's almost impossible for in state students to receive scholarships. However UNC does have a very good ROTC program and I know several in state students who've paid for school that way.

UNC has amazing facilities that allow students to pursue any and all interests they have. They offer a diverse course load and tons of leadership opportunities. First-years are able to get involved in research and I know many who have started their own clubs!

Busing at UNC is pretty good. There are lots of routes running on time during the week and the P2P runs from 7:30 to 3am every night. Going places on Sunday is a bit of a challenge and often the P2P is overcrowded.
