I have never felt unsafe, there is a large police presence - on campus and off campus. XU police patrol off campus and Norwood police patrol on campus, so the whole area surrounding the school is safe. Emergency polls if anything were to happen are all over campus, police force is large enough to protect all students staff and faculty if everyone was on campus at the same time. Good lighting, dorms have lots of security features, must swipe card to enter,etc.
