Alexander Dining Hall/Greystone
This is absolutely the best dining hall on Miami's campus. That's saying something because the food on campus is fantastic, but Alexander and the Greystone really stand out. Both located in the same dorm on Western campus, Alexander has an all-you-can-eat buffet, a waffle maker, ice cream, extensive salad bar, and various different types of food to choose from. In the lobby, you can find the Greystone, where you can buy general snack food, wraps and sandwiches, soft pretzels, and smoothies, all made-to-order. I worked in this dining hall my Freshman year and can attest to its cleanliness and superior food!

Okay, campus security is pretty good. They aren't crawling everywhere, but they are there when you need them... or when you park in the wrong place without a pass. Seriously, they are ticket ninjas. It also gets pretty intense on Green Beer Day - lots of underage drinking and public intox arrests. Only unexpected thing is how seriously Miami takes there trees - climbing one is a Code 1 - punishable by suspension and hefty fines. Resist the urge, Tarzan!

Snow? Maybe?
It's Ohio. We have weather. If you don't like it, stick around because it will change in about 10 minutes. Miami is used to heavy snow fall and if you are VERY lucky and have the best karma ever, all classes starting before 10am may be cancelled. Maybe. But they will not cancel an entire day. However, when it is nice, it is amazing. Campus is beautiful.
