Good Resources, Okay Classes.

Professors are experts in their field and there are lots of resources. The quality of the classes, however, aren't very consistent across the board: some are great, others are mediocre. As one of the few undergrad institutions with access to fMRI machines, Dartmouth has potential to provide a great education in the Psychological and Brain Sciences.

Campus Housing at Dartmouth College

B

Luck of the Draw

Off-campus housing is pretty much out of the option as most of them are too far and inaccessible and the vast majority of the campus chooses to live on-campus. Freshmen dorm are assigned randomly and options get better as you progress through the years, but each year, the random number that you are given determines how good of a room you can get. With increasing sizes of incoming classes, Dartmouth has been facing a housing shortage but for the most part, on-campus living is not too bad. Especially if you're lucky enough to get the good numbers.

All About Frats

There really are no other options (unless you are over 21 and can go to one of the few bars off campus) other than going to frats. Frat parties, frat events, or just playing pong are the only alternatives to having private room parties or chilling with friends the old fashioned way. Unless you have a car, it's practically impossible to go off-campus (not that there are any options other than boston--2 hr drive away--anyway).
