Joining a Fraternity

I like to go to parties and socialize a lot, but I do not drink. Would it be a waste of my time to join a fraternity if I'm not going to binge drink at parties? Most reviews make it seem like everyone drinks a lot at Vandy. I don't have a problem with everyone else drinking, but would I be looked down on if I didn't join in?

Well I am currently a junior in high school and I am going to join a sorority when I go to college, I have alot of family members that are in fraternities and sororities and I had alot of questions for them such as the question you had and I can say that from what they told me, you wont be judged if you didnt drink with everyone else.

That would depend a lot on your clique of friends. But I dont think anyone would look down on you. I dont drink as well and I have never been looked down upon as a result. Hence you should be fine
