Dorms Need Wireless
I don't understand why the dorms at the University of Illinois cannot have wireless internet in the rooms, or even let students have their own wireless router. With my laptop, I should be able to study wherever I want with ease. Plus, the connection they have is terribly slow and makes skyping or just plain using the internet difficult.

Variety
At the University of Illinois, there are a ton of off-campus housing options. A lot of them are decently price and fairly close to campus. The only bad thing is you have to start looking for one at the beginning of the fall semester, so if you're studying abroad the year before and want to live in an apartment, you have to have someone else look for you.

Bus Is the Way to Go!
Buses are a must at a big campus like U of I. If you don't have a bike and don't know the bus system, then good luck walking! The buses practically pick you up anywhere and take you anywhere you want to go. The Illini route is awesome because it runs every 10 minutes so you don't have to wait long for it. The only bad side is the service for all routes is limited on weekends, so you're kinda lost without them.
