I was a Communication major. I loved it. There are tons of class options and the teachers are amazing. I would definitely do it again. I am thinking of applying there for graduate school. My career goals are to work in an organization and use my skills i gained in the BA program in Northeastern to help guide me there.

The process is not hard, you have to just fill out a form stating that you want to study in that specific major. Some majors may require writing samples or test scores but nothing too hard.

Northeastern University Campus Dining was reviewed by dbajtner1

The cafeteria is great. They have microwaves to heat up food and have a ton of seating space. There is a Subway in the cafeteria along with various other types of foods. There are also many vending machines places all around the campus and the bookstore sells food for every meal of the day. You can't go hungry on campus.

Communication for the Future – I was orginaly a business major but decided that that worl was not for me and I switched something that had interaction with people and where i could use the creative side of my brain. The major at Northeastern includes communication, media and theater. It gives a great outlet to explore and experience all different kind of things. The teachers are amazing. They love what they do and understand what they teach. Sitting in class you can tell that they want to help you and know that their students are the next generation of their feild. The advisors are always encouraging internships so we can learn the feild and get more experience to decide what we want to do after school. The workload is a normal amount. The homework is to make sure we know and understand the material. The program offers many different options and class. You can focus on any of the three parts of the major or mix and match to get a little of everything. I am so happy with this major!

The academics at Northeastern are great. When i first started I didnt know what to expect. They have a great Library with a writing lab and a math lab and a really good reference section. All of the classrooms are being updated to connect to the teachers computer and be projected onto the board. There are several computer labs with both PCs and MACs all across the campus. The registration process is all online and can be accesed at anytime of the day. The classes are also great, whether it is a 100 level class or a 300 level, they are all taught very well by all the professors. There is a great variety of class options for each major.

There are a bunch of parking lots around the campus amoung street parking as well. Just down the block there is many restruants to choose from with conenivce stores and more.It just 20 minutes from Downtown Chicago and very easy to travel down there .It is never hard to find something to do, whether you want to stay close buy or go out a little farther
