Diversity Reigns
The University of Arizona is a extremely diverse. People of all different ethnic and racial backgrounds can be seen walking all throughout campus, and there are many clubs to explore and celebrate different cultures. Many different church buildings stand on campus, so religious diversity is encouraged and prominent as well. People of different political and sexual orientations attend school together, and for the most part in relative tolerance.

Average Financial Support
I was fortunate enough to receive a large academic scholarship, but it still does not quite cover all that I need. While there is decent support available, I feel that the university itself does not do very much to help people individually or provide scholarships. I suggest applying to scholarships early, and making appointments with an advisor whenever you need assistance.

Looking for a Science Internship
While I have not had an internship, there are many available. I plan on applying to a research internship relevant to my Biology major, as I feel that it would give me invaluable experience in my field. My main concern is that I don't have any prior research experience.
