Study Areas
Michigan State University offers wide range of areas that are set aside for studying. In every floor of every hall there is a study lounge that we can use. There are also lounges on the main floor of every residence hall. Not only are there study areas within residence halls but also in each and every one of the building son campus. The main library is 24 hrs a day, 6 days a week which is very convenient for students.

Apartments
There are many options for housing in East Lansing. However, the fact that we must decide within the first month of school whether or not we want an apartment is ridiculous. There is not enough time allotted for students to figure out whether or not they like the dorms enough to stay in them. Cost can be expensive but parking is more of a challenge within campus if you do have to drive there from an off campus place.

Diversity
The atmosphere at Michigan State University is very diverse. There are people from what seems like every country and ethnicity around. There are a wide variety of people so there is someone for everyone.
