On Campus, Few Problems – The code of conduct basically says no drugs and no drinking. Period. Which makes sense, because you're paying for an education and they want you to succeed. There is an "underground" scene of people, but honestly most people at Cedarville want to have fun in a way that honors God through their bodies.

Yes, It Is Harder Than Community College – One thing about Cedarville University is that they make you work harder than you did in high school, or at community college. The academics made to help students get ready to excel in work and ministry after college. One of the hardest classes I have taken at Cedarville is taught by my adviser, and I loved how much I knew and understood after that class! I find that most of the professors are help and very interesting people. Their characters and standards make the classes more interesting and challenging. Thankfull Cedarville also provides tutoring through the Student Government Association, and through their center called the Cove.

Not a Lot, but Good Quality. For dining off campus you do not have a lot of options in town, but the quality of the food is decent. Not every place is cheap, but the food you'll get will be good. A lot of people forget that Main Street Station is on the south side of town, but it definitely is worth the trip! Great if you want more sit down food. If you're going for cheap and quick, you can get Subway. Colonial Pizza is the only pizza place in town and a little more pricey, but on the upside they deliver to the dorms. Mom & Dad's is a small ice cream place across from Maddox Hall that is GREAT! Also if you're looking for coffee in town Beans and Cream or Stoney Creek are two available options. I have heard Stoney Creek has better coffee, I am more of a hot chocolate person but I feel theirs is better as well.

Okay, but Frustrating. Sometimes the technology at Cedarville does not always run smoothly, but the professors are usually very understanding and those in charge of fixing things try to tackle the problems as soon as possible. The lab assistants are usually very nice and helpful, and they keep everything running smoothly (paper, ink, etc). The WiFi sometimes can be a bit of a pain depending on where you are, and how many people are using it. An upside is that the university supplies one computer to each dorm room!

The campus has been undergoing changes, and constantly has something going on. If there aren't athletic games to attend (students have free admission) then you can usually start a team of intramural sports. The racquetball courts are very popular, and the athletic center has equipment that can be borrowed. They also have aerobic, fitness, and dance classes which are free to students. The library is nice, and unless it's a busy time of the semester you can usually find a spot where you wont be disturbed. Campus activities vary from "Alt nights" where there are movies and games in the student center, to campus wide events like "Mission Impossible" which is a race across campus, or the main evens towards the end of the semesters like Campus Christmas or Elliv (but those I will leave as a surprise). I'm honestly never bored at school.

Personally No Problems – I did not need to apply for financial aid for Cedarville, but was automatically given a scholarship for my high school GPA and ACT score. I find that Cedarville is definitely very willing to help students stay enrolled.
