Great Variety
I am only a freshman, but there are countless dorms reserved only for freshmen and most of them are nice and up-to-date. South Campus is currently working on installing AC/Heat for its dorms, but even without it it's never too hot or too cold. South Campus is near High Street (the main street of Columbus) and has the best choices for food. North Campus is really close to central campus and classrooms, and West Campus is the place to be if you want to be near the Recreation and Physical Activity Center, or RPAC.

Lots of Parking Space, but Lots of Students
Ohio State is a big school, so it has a lot of students. There are parking garages all across campus, but if you're a commuter or have a car on campus, try to get to your classes ahead of time if you want to find a decent parking spot. Lots of students are always heading to different classes, so the spots can fill up pretty quickly.
