The Block Plan
I came to Colorado College to experience a variety of opportunities that I would not have any where else. The block plan allows me to focus solely on one subject, although there is quite a bit of work your only commitment is to that class and the only commitment your professor has it to your class. Professors are always willing to help with any questions and concerns you have in and outside the class room. Small class sizes and non-judgmental peers allows for a comfortable learning atmosphere where students are not afraid to express feelings about particular subjects.

My Door Is Unlocked
Although we have an open campus with various non-college persons walking through, I never feel unsafe. Campus Safety does a good job with patrolling our campus as well as responding to emergency phone calls. My dorm bedroom is always unlocked and never have I had a problem with someone stealing anything from me.

Small School
Although our ratio of minorities to whites is low, our school does try to set up events to gather a large diversity of people. We have a very accepting school in terms of having various political and religious beliefs. There could be more diversity on campus however, it is not in anyway uncomfortable because even non-ethnic people have often been blessed enough to experience other parts of the world to share a very important perspective on life.
