Transportation at Virginia Commonwealth University

A-

Plenty Within Walking Distance

If you go to the Monroe Park campus and don't get stuck living at MCV, transportation isn't really an issue. All the necessities are pretty much in walking distance, but a car is nice for groceries and the like. The drunk bus (2BNB - to the bottom and back) is nice for hitting the bar scene, if somewhat slow.

Overall Experience at Virginia Commonwealth University

A-

Opportunities Galore

VCU is fond of pushing it's diversity image, and rightly so. It's an eclectic mix of students here. Richmond is a pretty cool city as well, though sometimes you can get stuck in the little world of VCU if you get lazy and don't venture out. The school never feels as large as the number of students would lead you to believe, but you do get most of the perks and opportunities of a school this size. All around awesome.
