Teachers Are Great – The teachers are awesome and because of the small classes the professors know your name. They also always take the extra step to help you out with whatever you need. My paiting teacher always offered help with picking out classes and teachers always offered to write reccomendations. Out of one year I only had two professors that were not great.

Johnson State College Local Atmosphere was reviewed by dhm1919

Theres Not a Lot to Do – Johnson is a very small town with a couple local resturants and shops. The resturants are great and ranges from cafe to bar. If you need a lot of stuff to do in town to be entertained then this is not the college for you. Its more of a hangout on college with friends. You can go to Burlington which is 40 minutes away and is an AWESOME town. It's great. There is a lot of shopping to do there and great resturants. If you grew up in a city Johnson probably isnt the best for you. If you know how to entertain yourself without going out every weekend to a museum, mall, bowling, or movies than youll be fine.

Johnson State College Drug Safety was reviewed by dhm1919

Drugs Are Popular – Drugs are very popular at Johnson State College mostly just smoking weed though. Alcohol is usually done off campus. But in the freshman dorms you can usually smell weed on someone. People dont peer pressure though and a lot of the time when people say they are straight edge the response is "wow thats great" not "thats stupid" or "you should try some."

Dorms Are Great and Fun – The dorms are bigger than many other colleges and have enough storage for a ton of stuff. Don't be worried about bringing too much you'll be able to fit it all.
