Safe but...
Villanova University is a very safe campus. I have never felt unsafe and my on campus job often requires me to walk through campus alone during nighttime hours. The neighborhood immediately surrounding the campus is rather residential and Villanova as a town has a very low crime rate. The only negative thing I would have to say about campus crime is that there are quite a number of thefts among students. I don't recommend that anyone leave their belongings lying around.

Greeks Present but Not Exclusive
Greek life is present on campus. However, there are no Greek houses so the Greek community really isn't that exclusive. Those in the Greek community often interact with students who are not. Being in the Greek community does not define who you are but it can if you want it to. With that said, being in a sorority/fraternity can be one of the best experiences you have during your college years. It is there if you want it.
