Winston Salem is pretty nice if you are an elderly couple or a couple just looking to raise a family but it is terrible for college students. They have a terrible night life and not many things for college student or young people to participate in

I love Wake Forest! I feel 100% comfortable there! The only thing I wish Wake had but doesn't is a more diverse student night life. Because Winston is not a college town, Greek life controls the social life. Unfortunately going fratting gets old once your a Junior so looking for things to do that are fun late night gets rough. Everything else, however, is amazing! The people, the professors, the pro-humanitate spirit...amazing!
