For acceptance into the Madison campus

My biological dad is originally from California and Georgia, he just recently went to FSU and loved it. He now lives in Tallahassee.

My roommate is from Connecticut, she came here not knowing anyone her first year. It was hard at first, but she absolutely loved it. I would suggest living on campus your first year- 100%. That way it's almost impossible not to meet new people.

I'm from Pennsylvania and I'm absolutely in love with FSU. It's definitely nice walking around in shorts in January while my parents are shoveling snow back at home. I will say when you first get here it may be a little intimidating because it feels like everyone knows each other or has more in common since they are all from Florida, but you will make friends. I actually have a decent amount of friends that are out of state. Tallahassee is a really great college town and FSU is an awesome place to go to school
