Great College Food
Although it's difficult to stay on the cheapest meal plan the food quality is amazingly good. There are so many options whether you're gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, lactose intolerant, or ready to eat everything in sight. You can grab snacks at the c-store in mathias or create your own pizza at the Preserve. Maybe you're feeling sushi, or perhaps mexican or a burger, Benji's has you covered. If you're not exactly sure what you want Rasty's can be a good option as it's the general dining hall. There are also some stores and restaurants surrounding campus that accept meal plan money.

Many Wealthy Liberal White Students
Although CC does its best to accomodate diverse backgrounds, with the economic downturn it has had to admit more students that are able to pay full tuition. This means many students are white wealthy kids who attended private high schools. CC is also very liberal. I believe we do have a republican club on campus, but they are a very very small minority.

Fairly Easy
For me the process was fairly easy. I would say the only bump in financial aid would be that there is a smaller amount due to the economic downturn.
