Vandy Defines Work Hard, Play Hard
Pretty much everyone drinks, especially if you're in a frat. Even if you're not, you still probably do. Drugs are also quite easy to come by but you wont see people being blatant like you would at some colleges in the NE or NW.

Sucks the Big One
Freshman can't, sophomores might as well not, and upperclassmen have to pay an arm and a leg. If mommy and daddy are footing the bill it isn't bad. The good news is you don't really need it.

Vandy Is a Great Place to Go to School
Greek life dominates the social structure, and in general, the students are pretty homogenous. The culture is snobby and immature at times but once you get used to it its not bad.
