Very Safe
Whitman's campus is very safe. Other than the occasional bike theft there is almost no crime, and that is usually because people get careless and stop locking up their bikes. The health facilities are great, the health center is open 24 hours and is very accessible.

Convenient Housing
Because Whitman is so small you don't have to look far for off campus housing, most are within a few blocks. Prices are also very reasonable because of Walla Walla's small size. As for parking, it is uncommon to have to park more than a block from wherever you want to go.

Good Party Options
There are a few bars frequented by students 21 and over, but it is mostly house parties. There are plenty of big dance parties at the frats and off campus houses on the weekends if that is what you're looking for. Many also choose to party with friends in their rooms'. Whitman promotes responsible decision making which means, its your choice to drink or not, and as long as you don't get out of control they are pretty relaxed about room parties.
