Does anyone know if this school accepts a lot of walk on athletes for football?

Meaning does this school accept a decent amount of good athletes or do they just look for like only 3 athletes every season?

It depends on which sport you would be trying out for. I don't think they take hardly any walk ons for the football team but I have heard of walk ons for sports such as lacrosse.

ASU accepts tons of athletes, it is known as a great destination for them, and lots of winning programs.

Being that ASU is a Division I school in the PAC-12, we do have numerous walk-ons throughout different sports, though most student athletes have received a full scholarship.

I don't know exactly what it is like for football but I am in the process of walking on and trying out for the womans D1 water polo team and it hasn't been a hassle.

As long as they're not seniors, I feel like the team doesn't change too much.

Temple usually keeps a good amount of walk-on football players. They take anywhere from 2-4 every year. One of my closest friends was a preferred walk-on DB and he loves it. He does say that life as a walk-on sucks because you don't get the same respect as scholarships players but he enjoys it because he loves the game.

All sports require you to have played the sport during your high school or college careers.

A+

The financial aid office really helped me and my parents during my orientation when I cam up here. We did not have enought funds to pay for my education and they really helped us out.

B-

Greek life at my school is ok, but they are very into what they do which is good. I think that Greek life does not have much affect on the school as a whole though, but they are very friendly and accepting.

Does anyone know if Arizona State accepts alot of walk on athletes for football or not?

What is the likelihood of a good walk-on athlete making the football team at ASU?

Not very likely. While Arizona state does not have the greatest football team, they still don't take a lot of walk ons for their football team.

I'm not a complete sports nut, but considering how well our team managed last year I would say the chances are low.

Not sure, I hear it's pretty hard to make the team, especially since competition is so high due to the size of the school and thus number of its options.

It is likely if the athlete is talented, they will make the team.

If you are that good you should not have a problem walking on to the football team. I have had friends walk on to other sports teams.
