UCSC Computer Labs
The computer labs at UCSC are often overflowing with students during the stressful times of midterms and finals (or whenever your immediate need for printing is greatest), but in general the availability of lab and printing facilities is good. The Cowell computer lab is even open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which is certainly convenient for any night owl students living on-campus.

Greek Life?
Outside of those sorority and fraternity members who flyer outside the bookstore during the beginning of the quarter, I have little contact or knowledge of what goes on with students involved in Greek Life. There are some great resources for students looking for a tight knit community, but they certainly aren't a focal of social life at UCSC.

Something for Everybody
As long as you remember not to neglect your academics and take the initiative to pursue your interests, the overall experience of being a student at UCSC is great. I would encourage looking into internship opportunities and attending office hours in order to get the most out of your college experience here.
