Lexington was recently ranked in the top ten nicest small towns in the country. The local attitude overall is positive towards students with the exception of the city cops. Partying is the schools favorite activity and most students spend free time drinking and socializing.

School Stictness
The school is not very strict at all. You have to been doing something dumb to get into trouble and even dumber for getting caught. Drinking in the doors can get you in trouble, but it is done a lot since the fraternity houses are so close to campus. The honor system also allows a lot of freedom academically. Schedule most of our exams ourselves and can take them anywhere at any time. Just don't lie, cheat, or steal.
